Paul Thompson Memorial Gopher Classic Golf Tournament

Dear NCYH Members

Fort Collins Pond Hockey Association would like to invite you to play in the 9th Annual Paul Thompson Memorial Gopher Classic Golf Tournament on Friday, September 13, at Fox Acres. In years past we have benefited Healthy Hearts of UCH, a community outreach organization. Their motto is Healthy Hearts, Healthy Minds. This year we are still promoting Healthy Hearts with live CPR training, and we have an AED for a potential sponsor, but we are mostly focused on putting Healthy Hearts motto in action by creating scholarships for disadvantaged kids to have a chance to learn and play hockey through NCYH. They get the chance to exercise their body and their mind by playing a team sport. Many kids who don’t get the chance to play organized hockey come to our pond in Fort Collins to play Pond Hockey. We started playing pond hockey in 1992. We believe when you help kids the future is better for all of us.

FCPHA in the past has donated to NCYH to support youth hockey. We are very excited to help kids that may not have the chance to play this great game of hockey. Our golf tournament is about having fun while supporting a great cause and playing at the spectacular course of Fox Acres.

Registration cost is $650 per team. We also allow threesomes and twosomes, and you can sign up as an individual. For more information, or to register you can go to our website:
