Defense Camps
about
These camps are for higher-level players who want to refine their skills and knowledge at their respective positions. Most drills during this camp will be new to the kids. The skills and concepts covered in this camp are much easier taught and learned away from a team setting and will allow each player to focus on his/her chosen position. The D camp will have a heavy focus on footwork, body position, puck retrievals, outlet passes, offensive options, rush play, and on how defensemen control the game both with, and away from, the puck. Many of the drills have origins in junior, college, or professional practices, including a number of drills from NHL practices and training camps. All on-ice work will be run by Coach Swanson and Coach Marto (Defense).

- 5 hours of ice broken up over five ice sessions (three days) at NoCo
- 3 hours of hockey-specific off-ice training run by Pursuit Sports Performance (www.pursuit.fit) - please pack workout clothing, proper shoes, and water bottle
- Snack options provided including fruit and Gatorade drinks

Northern Colorado Youth Hockey has the right to refuse any participant into any program/camp/clinic.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- 3 weeks or before camp start will receive 75% of payment
- 2 week prior to camp start will receive 50% of payment
- Less than 1 week prior to camp start payment is non-refundable
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable
Pay in Full: Entire amount will be processed at time of registration
Payment Plan: Deposit due at time of registration, balance due on date noted in registration.
